  • Yep, paired to a Naim Uniti Nova & Neat Motive SX2 speakers. Quite happy with how it all sounds, although I'll probably never get used to how flimsy the turntable looks ;)

    Anyway back to the vinyl. Latest purchase is this from Causa Sui, who tend to turn out the most wonderful jams at times, and there's more interesting bands where they come from; https://elparaisorecords.com/ also hosts Mythic Sunship, and Papir up until recently. Great pressings, recommended.

  • I've got Mythic Sunship - Upheaval for sale on Discogs (priced to keep in fairness). They are a great label, good to collect too as they seem to keep the represses to low numbers and as you said, quality pressings and covers.

    I had considered the Well Tempered decks before. They would work in the space I have. It's too easy to stick with the SL1200 though, direct drive is so much set and forget. Not surprised you are happy with the sound though, that's a decent setup by reputation.
