I’ve bought an XS Torm jersey from him via eBay. It’s not only legit, but a bargain and sent out as described and quickly.

Anyone tried 'Hot Hands Foot Warmers'? Little inserts you stick in your shoes. Thinking of trying it to prevent cold feet that I've had an issue with during the last few winters.

I've not but I found a good combo is waterproof socks (the non breathable kind) and a set of neoprene overshoes. That keeps my reynauds-y feet pretty toasty.

Fizik winter mtb boots and rapha deep winter socks were a game changer for me last year.

Yes. They do work, but in a limited capacity. Best if your shoes are windproof etc.
Also use before foot goes cold, as not enough to revive.

These things totally changed winter riding for me- stick them in your shoes before you head out and enjoy warm feet for the whole ride. I would wear waterproof shoes - or overshoes.

One pair lasts around 8 hours.

Definitely get winter boots. I have been doing the waterproof socks + overshoes for years before
getting dedicated winter boots and it does make a massive difference. -

Winter boots + merino socks is the best combo, and I've tried many. These chemical warmers are good too, if wasteful.

Winter boots and merino socks for me means my feet go white and I lose all sensation. Winter boots plus merino socks and the heaters- I still have blood in my feet.
Before I started using them during winter I’d permanently have two (or more) toes that were entirely chilblain.
So, for me, I’d say not wasteful. YMMV depending on your circulation.

Has anyone used electrically heated insoles? I knew someone years back who swore by them, and I suspect battery technology makes them a bit less bulky now.

This is kind of where I'm at over the last few winters. It eventually makes rides miserable and if a few heat pouches can cure the coldest, wettest rides then it would be a big positive.
I'll look at the other suggestions too - deep winter socks / winter shoes. Cheers folks.

Two of my toes looked like plums during winter until I stopped listening to people who said “all you need is the right socks”.

Talking of shoes, I've got a pair of Lake winter boots that are too snug for me, think a 45 or 46, if anyone is looking

I might be interested in these.
If they compare to a UK 11?
Ill pm you -

Fair, it's hands where I suffer. Also, I found having a bit of wiggle room does a lot, constricted feet are cold feet.

I found that lobster gloves did wonders in the hand department.

I am potentially interested if more along the lines of UK size 10

+1 for lobster gloves (and have added bonus that you can freak people out on Zoom calls)

Here’s the size label, would say that they are a UK10 as just that bit too small for me

Hate single-use / disposable shit like that.
Do like winter boots and I used waterproof socks (Dexshell) for the first time in Scotland and I'm converted. Seemed warmer than Woolie Boolie type socks. Will try them on the road bike (if I ever leave the house) one day and report back. Assume they'll be pretty warm.

If you're feet go numb, there's no issues. They're numb. Just keep riding.
It's when you get home and have to thaw them out that the fun starts :)
I could be wrong but I think Dave Angel is the owner - though i cant find any ref to it on the site
