Yes, got some Aussie mates in HK who I’ve been bombarding with photos of us in various parts of the UK and Corfu. They normally head back to Australia every Easter so it’s been a while for them. I’m fully expecting to see pictures of my bike at the bottom of our swimming pool soon.

Thanks but the backup is tea. Hotel provides a good range of loose leaf teas including my go to osmanthus oolong.

I like a coffee but I'm certainly not a connoisseur so I use the Bosch Tassimo & pods.
I can't stand the milk pods though so i use a Lavazza milk frother.
Works for me.

Yep, Colonna have been the best tasting & most reliable pods, we have had in at work

On the pod subject: if you have a grinder and are expecting to have lots of time on your hands, I once bought the steel reusable WayCap pods that you fill yourself. Totally failed to get anything drinkable out of them, mind. At the time I was spending a lot of time at a customer site with only a pod machine. But if you’re interested, I’d be happy to pop it in the post for free. It’s gathering dust because I have a proper espresso machine at home and work, and I just accept whatever coffee I get elsewhere.

Sorry I didn't realise it was a golf hotel

Filling my own pods is not a rabbit hole I want to go down for a 21 day stay. After the quarantine is over I’m back to the rabbit hole that is hand grinding and a manual lever espresso machine.

Haha fair enough. As I said, my experience wasn’t great, so I wouldn’t normally recommend it. But if you needed a “project” to kill the time, this could be that. Good luck with the quarantine, stay sane!

On that note: if anyone else is keen to try the WayCap thing: I have one and you can have it for free, just send me a PM.
It’s this thing: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/waycap/waycap-refillable-coffee-capsule-for-nespresso-mac

Magical, I knew it.

it's irksome as he's clearly making fun of the coffee posterboy (imagine him drinking instant coffee!) but using a confusingly negative descriptor about the coffee he's drinking when your brand is prominently displayed.
I'm sure no one else looking at the photo even considers the connection and I'm just being overly-protective of the brand as a happy customer.

Ha,cheers :)
I’ve gone right off reading into semantics just lately.

I expect to see you soaring up the Mario Kart Tour rankings during your quarantine period... 21 days, ugh...

Today’s spot. Not convinced this European coffee culture is all its cracked up to be.

I’ve reduced the price of the grinder I’m selling. Europiccola machine also still available at a good price… https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/368531/#comment16216900

After a frustrating morning of shots with my Gaggia, this is looking even more tempting. Won’t have the cash until next month tho.
If you need a backup Nescafe Azera is the least bad instant coffee.
