  • Right, if I don't need it, can I go back to the tongsheng and how many v? 48?
    10?

  • Some people would suggest 48 I'm guessing.
    36 is enough.
Someone in here probably has better answers than me

  • 36V is plenty, from what i've read 48 - 52 doesn't feel like riding a bike any more!

Just get 36V and get the biggest battery you can afford, more aH is more range

  • 36v17ah is what I have BUT my loads and range is very limited in comparison

but yeah get more range rather than v

  • Nothing currently available from Urban Arrow until next year. Our bikes don't come specced with racks for some reason.

  • More v's reduces a's and create less heat with the same power. Make sure your controller and screen can handle it.

  • Where you at big boi, London?

  • Nobody needs more V's just more battery

  • Yeah fair enough!

From the UA group on FB:
Steco power carrier apparently is a good fit.

  • South bermondsay. Looking for workshop space. Built a cargo trailers.
    Where you about?

  • Built a cargo trailers

Interested to see pics if you want to share!

  • Crap, sorry, forgot to reply to this. Probs will try to source something closer to home, might aim for new also to have the peace of mind of a warranty. Cheers.

  • W Norwood. Will give you a shout soon.

    Looking for workshop space

Just bike stuff or machine shop?

  • Hi All

I have an Omnium Mini - I'd like a collapsible bag I can leave on the rack that my son can sit on when I do the school run, but can also be popped up to get milk etc on a shopping run.
    Any ideas?

I have a massive roll top style bag from a bicycle trailer that would probably fit this bill. Has velcro straps n shit on the bottom to attach to the trailer that'd probably work on the cargo bed.

  • Prototype, mainly from scrapped metal, max I was carrying around 300kgs, had to get a bigger cassette to pull it and need to put brakes.
@psg1ben welding shop really, but bikes will be involved too. Build bikes for bike wars, etc.

  • Cool! What bike are you pulling it with?

  • My omnium cargo with bafang bbshd.

  • Love it! Miss having a workshop, have a bunch of tools and TIG welder etc with nowhere to put them, workshop space is so expensive just for hobbies

  • So... all Packster 70s built before Oct 6 have been recalled to the factory... this'll be interesting.

  • Yeah just hearing this too. That fucking sucks. I can't imagine it'll be anything close to a quick process either.

I guess we're back to using the car for nursery runs :(

  • Noooo!!!!

Where are the details of this? Can't find anything on R&M. Edit, just seen it here:

    https://www.r-m.de/en-us/

    Fml

  • Mine is due at the dealer this week. Wonder if that means it's going back.

  • Friend of mine also had his recalled. In australia.he only had it for 2 weeks

  • Never thought a cargo bike recall would tip me into full existential crisis, but here we are.

Does anyone know what refund rights are in this scenario?

  • Apparently r&m are going to issue full refunds.

What other models should I be looking at? Urban arrow? Douze?
