For Sale: Mercian Olympic F&F

I'd like to be the kind of person who restores old bikes. But I'm not. I have neither the skills nor the time required. So I'm selling off some stuff I've been dragging round with me for ten years...

Mercian Olympic frame and forks. Early 80s, paint is tatty but it's straight and true. Bit of scorched paint and scratches as a result of removing a stuck bottom bracket.

Is £120 outrageous? Seems like a lot but these things are hard to find these days. I'll include the high flange wheel set that I bought off 'ere in 2009-ish. I'm sure someone will let me know if that's way out of whack.

Collection from Shrewsbury area, or can post at cost. I'm down in London every couple of weeks so could arrange collection from South Tottenham.

Update: I've just found these Road Champ handlebars which I think were originally on it. Included at no extra cost. Also worth noting that the tyres are Gatorskin ultra 27 x 11/4 which are fitted 10+ years ago but have never been ridden.

Agree. Have not seen this type of lugs on 70s Mercian before either - brochure here
The closest is the Superlight, but that does not have m/g eyelets. A custom make?

Hah I remember that brochure! They must have run it for years and years.

Lugs are by Haden, appeared on a few makers economy orientated frames. Look a bit like Carlton Crespera

Here are the measurements:
Down tube 62cm; top tube 54cm, seat tube 57cm
(I’m assuming these were originally sized in inches. It’s a medium sized frame, ideal for me at 175cm tall)
