Apologies if I’ve failed to find this elsewhere on the thread but could anyone recommend a good zip supplier? I’m replacing the double zip on an otherwise indestructible T-level rucksack and I can’t find what I need (85cm double zip with closed ends). Any go-to that I’m missing? Cheers!

If you need to do delicate work they are much safer to use than power drills as you are much less likely to overdrill...it may be niche but, for example, it's why you aren't allowed power drills anywhere near artworks in many galleries. GLWS

I'd look into this pretty well to confirm if I were you, but when at Ipswich a few weeks ago I'm pretty sure they had a sign up saying no bikes at all (I guess without a reservation) on trains from there this Sunday to London, and that included folding if I remember correctly, which would be harsh...

If ferrys are your thing @honk the Bawdsey to Felixstowe ferry is cute and you can catch more of the nice coastal landscape if you head that way. It's basically a small boat that shuttles back and forth continuously, and takes a very pleasant 3 minutes or so. It's on the Wolf Way cycle route (that I can recommend also). So the potential for at least 3 ferries on your return. As a dynamo first-timer, I'll be taking the coach. Have a good ride!

    Hi all,
I'm wondering if I could commission a small job from anyone able to sew webbing (eg. like the omnium webbing up the thread). I'm looking to make a continuous loop to carry a pannier over my shoulder as 1. I'm new to panniers and 2. hand carrying the one I generally have with me is already annoying. A loop of 15ocm i think will give me 2 styles of carry and require just a simple sturdy sew on the overlap. Anyone have some webbing lying around and a machine that can sew it? All colours considered. DM me to discuss if so. Thanks!

FYI Restrap very kindly converted mine from velcro to the bungee strap (which is indeed a great improvement), so whoever takes this (very useful and nicely made bag) might want to ask Restrap nicely if they'd do the same for you
