I'm pretty chuffed, apparently it's water proof too, but I can't get the cotton ball wet cause it'll go all puffy. Good to know!

Alternative desk diver . Gets away with the retro bandwagon jumping as well I feel.

A fine return to form after your previous picture.

I do lack consistency.
I will try harder to be reliably awful. -

The fauxtina here is like at 120%. If they just toned it back I think these would’ve sold way more than they have.

On the Bond ?
It’s much better in the flesh in my opinion. -

I found it a bit weird when I tried one on. Hard to explain. Excellent finishing but the whole thing felt slightly… off?… in some indefinable way to me. YMMV.
The case/bezel/dial/hands are really well done. Maybe it was the bracelet. Or the brownness. It was probably the brownness.
The ceramic model is a lot nicer & cooler IMHO and £930 less.

Is the black’s black, or very slightly brown?
-
• #58188
Very slightly brown but only just. You could call it a warm black.

I think it would have work better without it being a warm black.

Baby daughter is coming soon and I’d thought to buy her a watch to celebrate the birth and give to her at a later date - should I do this now or look for a model when she can choose it?

That ceramic one is cool , it just doesn't feel as special as the Bond one I feel .
And from feed back from the one I have sold the bracelet is great to wear and looks awesome. -

Yeah I def respect how well made it is, I think it's just a personal taste thing.

Hey, congrats! JF answered a similar question:

I think the thing with it is, it's going to be so long until she can wear it, would you want something you (or your partner) can wear until you pass it on? Or would it just sit in a drawer/safe for the best part of two decades? If the latter then maybe it makes more sense to buy yourself a watch to celebrate now (and to remind you of her every time you look at it), and then something to mark a significant occasion in her life - 18th, graduation, wedding, etc - when the time comes.

I think that’s the best ideas, more sentimental value.

Bit like a Daniel Craig Bond Movie so really it's perfect.

Do you keep them under wrapping to maintain your trademark "soft focus" experience in real life?

And I think this merits special attention, not necessarily for all the right reasons ........
