This is the Ed Roth illustrated record sleeve that kicked it off for me! Timeless...

I’ve a T-shirt with a very similar illustration, this was definitely the inspiration!

I have a couple Gunpla in the backlog, but having just spent an hour browsing through scalemates at some of the WW2 era British tanks I’m getting tempted. Love all the 3rd party accessories and modifications out there! Might have to treat myself to a M4 Firefly.

Brass fittings look decent?

This is how plastic kits get expensive. There are a few details that aren't quite right on them but someone has made a resin / photoetch / decal pack that solves it!

Probably going to keep them and start building again. I do love the A-10, a plane designed purely as a flying gun.
Just need to buy new paint as all my old stuff is a solid lump now...

Same, quite like the colour though

I'm honestly gonna have to talk myself out of getting the drift one. It's probably hard to learn anyways.

Maybe this could be retitled to Scale models?

I still have a 1/16 scale Morgan Super Sports three-wheeler from Academy Minecraft, that I really enjoyed painting and putting together in the early 2000s. Sadly, it needs restoration after getting damaged in a house move. It looks like it is still available, so I might get another kit to plunder for any missing parts.
There don't appear to be many scale model kits of bicycles available. There used to be several classic racers by Protor, e.g., Bartali, Bianchi, Colagno, Legnano and TI Raleigh, but they were discontinued after the death of Tarquino Provini in 2005 along with his very detailed motorcycle and racing car models. This is a 1938 Legnano, (image source: https://www.catawiki.com/sv/l/48551875-cykling-gino-bartali-1938-skala-1-9-cykel#&gid=1&pid=1)

Cool the A10 is such a brute of plane. Me and my brother made one together. Nice collection

Yes is definitely a shame about the lack of bicycle kits even some potentially larger 1/8 kits would be nice to have the details more legible, here’s to hoping someone will get some made in the future!
Found this on emodels earlier, makes me want to get some Halloween themed kits haha!

^ That's the Gruesome Twosome, I think.

The Protar kits were 1/9 scale and look pretty good, though the new-old-stock prices on auction sites are getting high. This person did an excellent job with the TI Raleigh version:
From their detailed build thread, which nicely compares the scale model's components with the full-size Campagnolo originals:

That’s such a well done kit! I set a watch alert up on eBay for the brand last night, but yes the sold prices are quite high!

Managed to get the left leg for my EVA-01 figure made today. Some really nice moulding on this Bandai kit! The rubber pieces are also pretty easy going with is a nice surprise!

Anyone in here got much knowledge/experience with airbrushes? Still debating on what to get for my Badger Krome.

Iwata was the weapon of choice back in the day. I'm sure new stuff has arrived in the market now though.

I just bought a £45 kit off amazon with a little compressor and everything. I'm only going to be using it for base coats and priming so no fine detail needed but honestly so far I'm impressed.

That’s good to hear, does yours have a in between tank that then powers the brush or direct from the compressor? Think all the technical jargon is getting to me, when in fact my skills are going to be the biggest setback!
Love the artwork on that box!!
