It's just kitted out really poorly inside. My money would be on it being some kind of holiday home or rented out. The clue being the ubiquity of cheap flat pack and entirely free standing storage and the cheap, shit leather sofa.
Could be amazing in the hands of someone who knows / cares a bit about interior design.

Thats because most of the furniture is the same finish from Ikea.
Not that that necessarily a bad thing.
I like the sunken garage, which gives the family room more height.
