I’m inclined to agree with this, but I think on the flip
Bikes for me are what I do when I’m down bad, and tbqh, with things going how they are atm things are on the up!
Being able to do non bike related things again, going to the shops, coffee, seeing people outside the structure of cycling has been good! And made me value how much I missed this, where cycling/ bikes sits in my wider life.
Which is much more “one very nice bike”
I’m sure as life does eb and flow I will be bac with more projects, but for now seems good?
@Qebrus am in the Peckham tri borough area, HMU… but maybe not out that far
The homer looks like a lot of fun. There's always time in the future for more projects.
Obviously I can only speak to my own experience but when bike projects are getting me down and feeling like too much work it's usually indicative of other things in life beyond the bikes, and I need to take some downtime generally.
Although to be fair sometimes it's just because I have too many bikes and not enough space :)
