Saw this in a shop window last week and liked it a lot, but feels like a guilty pleasure for some reason...
What's the lfgss general opinion about it?

Would you do consider it without the Tag logo? If not, there’s your answer…

I'd consider it more without a Tag logo...

IMHO the one to get from the current Monaco collection is this:
Heuer signed only, and has the original horizontal hour markers (which I much prefer). It’s basically the Steve McQueen model.

They did a series of limited retro reissues in 2019 (themed around decades) which were also quite nice.

Haha, I’d personally not consider it at all, no matter the brand.

Why?

Totally agree with this. Straight outta 1969. Super cool reference that is just as funky now as it was then.
With that said, if you’re willing to entertain vintage, there are hundreds and hundreds of lesser known chronos out there that are just as cool, if not cooler, and a fifth of the price.

It's one of those brands I just don't really like.
Always associate Tag Heuer with estate agents and cunty city boys first commission cheque purchase.Saying that, vintage Heuer Camaro is on my grail list.
Just the modern stuff doesn't appeal.
Edit: to add, I also don't like Rolex and if I could afford one, I wouldn't have one. (But I do wear a Tudor, so it's it all brand hatred)
Happy for others to like things I don't, can't imagine I would ever be the benchmark for fashion opinion (just see the Headwear thread for evidence of that)

I'd wear it. I like it. It's one of a couple TG I'd like to own.

^looks great - which model is that?

I think the matt plastic makes it look a little rendered in that photo

That hi-viz is ace. Want!

Oh they're basic fitness trackers...with no ability to recharge and no solar

Gbd-200
-
• #57873
Yeah, basically the general fitness version of the G-Lide GBX-100. Same screen, I imagine the same module just running slightly different software. Screen is ace.

I still regret not buying that myself. Kinda digging a monza.

A late entry after arriving for a week of R&R in Joshua Tree. I mean, I’m still working, but it’s a world away from Los Angeles and should be a nice place for my wife to recover from the surgery she just had. #csb
