  • I bought this sight unseen in Glasgow. It was sold to me as a 54. I had to have it as it is beautiful.

    It is NOT a 54 !!!

It’s also not a 60, which I thought it was, it’s a 58. 57.5mm top tube. So, Snoops has rightly pulled out. If the 2nd and 3rd dibs are still interested get in touch please.

My tiny legs just can’t get over the crossbar no matter how hard I try.

It’s gorgeous though. And in great nick. It is totally original but the frame is what you all want. I mean who doesn’t love black with mirror decals. It has had a scratch on the non drive side top tube which has been touched up but I can’t get a decent pic of it and other than that its near mint.

I love these bikes with a love that is true. I paid £285 for it which I thought was a bit of a scoop. I’d like as close to that back. I’m in Bristol but I move to the Isle of Harris on the 27th so I’d rather have it collected (my daughter will still be here)

There’s not many CAAD5’s with this colour combo and its porn.

Hit me up if you’re interested. Thanks

  • Bargain for a beautiful bike. Just wish I was taller...

  • Me too !

  • How tall are you? Or are you able to provide some more detailed measurements of the frame geo?

  • Dibs. PM

  • HHSRB is coming home

  • It’ll get Campaged if I can bring it home.

  • @snoops you may indeed bring it home to the ball Cinders to be Campaged to death !
It's what it calls for. As with you, I am a massive CAAD fan, have had maybe 15 'Dales, this is the coolest by a country mile.

  • It’ll be in safe hands

  • That was a private photo share. Pls. Bar angle is still being fettled.

  • & rear gear cable shortened

  • Shots fired.

  • It was shorter, but the flex when taking the wheel in and out causes it to crack. So this is functionally better. Piew! Piew!

  • taking the wheel in and out ? do you need to talk ?

edit : i totally see what you mean, had it the same, but a longer cable is not the solution. better technique to remove the wheel is. that's what the shimano doctor said.

  • Snap. Just a few of the many, many, many Dales I’ve had, still have. Sold my Vamoots RSL and Indy Fab, kept my CAAD10. Nuff said.

  • 2nd dibs. Please may I check it out though sizing wise? I am in BS6

  • Would love to know the better technique. Put it in the 11 and pop it out is all I’ve ever known.

    Got a video?

  • Will take 3rd Dibs if still going!

  • I have reverted to 9000 these days and not on a caad12/supersix type anymore, but i used to take the skewer out and take the wheel out from the back. a bit more fiddly with the chain, but less fiddling with the derailleur that causes the cable to kink

  • Undibs, sadly, due to 575 top tube.

  • lovely bike!

  • And……..sold.
    To the very pleasant Bobble.
Super nice to have all the interest and the lovely comments. It really is a stunning bike (as are all Cannondales really)
    Have yourselves a lovely evening.

  • Thanks @roadiesean. Nice to meet you! Hopefully we'll get out for a spin soon. Does anyone know the seat clamp and post size by any chance please?
