For the foreseeable once all together again the bike will only be used on the sweet cycle paths between my parents house and swinley, or possibly on the flat bridal paths of Cambridge if the bike is moved

If you're going for custom paint jobs I don't understand why you'd put the stickers back on.

What gear are you running? I've got mine set up in a very similar guise, even down to the tyres and framebag! :)

Nice! Gearing is relatively high for a bit of Cheshire bridleway bimbling, something like 35x19. I'll be dropping down to something like 32x20/33x21 before heading out into the Peaks/Pennines.
