I was also fully nonplussed by the whole Ronaldo thing until the post-match interview when he spoke about how nervous he was before the game. It changed how I felt about him to be honest, I think I had quite a strong aversion to him because he always seemed so arrogant and never actually enjoyed what he was doing, but hearing him admit feelings made me think a little differently.
