Tax rises are electorally toxic and this one is a kicker. Core Tory voters annoyed at dividend changes and the business NI rise, swing labour voters annoyed at blanket regressive NI rise on their pay.
Add in the inevitable sly spending cuts and things look difficult for Boris. The farce in Afghanistan doesn't help either.
