Hurrhurr. Everyone has their own requirements for their bikes, mine happens to fall heavily on 'If I just look at my bike, does it make me want to ride it'? If not then what's the fucking point of it? Otherwise I might was well ride a toaster.

I ride because I like riding, not because I have a shiny thing sat in the corner. I'm not Chris Froome, ie. I'm not looking at the bike while I'm riding it.

If anything, my cheaper, more worn bikes get ridden more because I'm less fussy about keeping them pristine.

Honestly if you have an SRAM AXS bike and you're thinking of buying an expensive carbon fibre frame upgrade for it you should just buy a mirror, look into it and have a word with yourself.

I had to check I was still on lfgss, I thought the answer was always yes to these questions.

If I wanted a new frame and I had the cash for the new frame I wanted, and that new frame was in stock somewhere, i probably wouldn’t have even stopped to post about it on lfgss, if that is your real name anymore.

I built a brand new MTB a few months ago and stuck it straight into storage. That's how I roll. Riding new bikes is so 2008.
