friends of mine just comleted the odra-nisa bike path without e-bike-assistance and they did 60-85km per day with loaded bikes. none of them is a touring rider, they're all in office jobs afaik. they said it was manageable, but more km per day would be too much. the 110 km in one ride seems a little too ambitious. maybe split in two days riding?
I need opinions:
We have a week of holiday planned, 100km from where we live in Berlin.
Plan was to take bikes on train and then a nice bike ride of 20kms.
Now the trains are on strike and it looks like renting a car/borrowing one/get someone to drive us. Which involves getting two bikes with mudguards in a car and so on.
I had the idea to rent an E-Bike for my girlfriend, so we can just ride the nice 110k (Berlin Kopenhagen Route).
My girlfriend once managed 80k on a day, but is home office unfit right now.
How stupid is the idea? There is a charging point after 70kms.
