Car audio/sat nav question
I want to replace the original stereo in my 2004 car. Don't need cd, just radio and bluetooth.
Current setup has a cd-slot phone holder and a charger with a bluetooth to FM adapter.
Feels like I should be able to get all of that in one unit now instead of chargers, mounts and cables looking like a Halfords car boot sale.
What's the standard non-audiophile car audio setup these days?
everything (sat nav, audio UI) on the phone, phone in a third-party holder, bluetooth connection for music
head unit with satnav, bluetooth for music, audio UI on the head unit
something else?
A headunit with Apple car play/Android auto would eliminate everything apart from a charging cable (needed to connect your phone to the headunit).
