I seen that - I honestly thought drivers earned a lot more, perhaps they did back in the day of 24hr proplus fuelled shifts & falsified tachygraph readings...

Not to worry, i hear there's a plan to call in army reservists to drive the trucks... never mind that those army reservists are currently already driving trucks as their day job of course.

Me too, I learnt that their condition is very poor especially with lacklustre facilities for them in the UK, and now the government want to extend the legal limit to how long they can drive without a proper breaks…

The facilities all pretty much closed down during lockdown too, showers etc. at motorway services were all locked up but they were still charging the same rate for parking the trucks overnight - no wonder a load of the drivers binned it.
