Try drop a piece of string with small weight (ferrous ideally) from top of seattube then turn bike upside down i direction that prompts it to head up downtime, use magnet to fish out. Then attach inner and pull back.

I normally use a gear cable: thread it as required, then place down the hose and push.

tie dental floss at the end of the outer and use henry

Put your lips to the hole in the frame and suck the cable out

Get a different bike, with more sensible cable routing

Internal dropper post arrived, any words of wisdom for routing a fully internal cable without removing a bb and without a fancy park tool cable kit?
Pulling the BB out will, I reckon, save time overall. Run an old gear cable through the frame, guiding it with a powerful magnet, then slide the housing over the cable and push it back through until it gets to the thumb lever.
If it's a Reverb, I'd buy an internal cabling kit as they allow you to pull the hose through the frame without bursting into tears.

Miele vacuum has pulled twine through the frame with minimal fuss, next step cable…

why are you in the bathroom?

Don't be racist. That's an Irish workstand.

It was easier to bring the bike to the vacuum than to bring the vacuum to the bike

And the vacuum cleaner lives in the bathroom because of some sort of fibre shortage?

Cable is through, but I think the one they provided is too short!

The problem I face now is that I’ve not really got space for the dropper lever, with the lockout lever on the lhs and gears on the rhs.
I’ve gotten the ks lever that is just like a grip collar with a button but it’s still pretty crowded over there.
Any suggestions?

Barcentric is pretty. You can heat shrink then with the brake hose too..

I’ve looked at a few images online and think the problem I have is the order in which they’re fitted is (from left most bar end): grip - lockout remote - dropper lever - brake
This is because my lock on grips use them lockout remote as one of the locking collars.
I should have a locking collar in my spares box that’ll do to set it up like: grip - dropper lever - brake - lockout lever

Thanks. I’ve ordered the SID but it can easy go back if that’s a better fork for not too much more.

If it's a 32mm SID I'd be going with the 34mm chassis of the Fox. If it's a 35, then enjoy and ignore me :)
Nice! Top tip.. the cover bit printed DUB on the drive side of the crank bolts keeps coming off my GX cranks. Almost unobtainium in the current climate. Make sure yours is tight!
