Brilliant! Hope the rest of the race goes well.

Strong start, well done! Race looks amazing, enjoy!

Llangollen fell race completed today, knocked 30 minutes off last years time and didn’t throw up at the start and then hate the entire race, I was absolutely buzzing to finish as the last 3 or 4 miles were hurting.

Big Half today. Had no idea where fitness was so left the Garmin at home.
Thought I’d sneaked under 90mins feeling fairly comfortable, but had to wait for the results to come out to be sure.
Turns out I started in the second wave not the first, so 1:25:47 and a 2.5min PB
Fairly chuffed. Might leave the watch at home more often

Great effort. There's definitely something to be said for running watch free in races.

Well done!
I did a 1:29.22 round a track today (excluding some drinks breaks) and I didn't enjoy it at all.
I enjoyed the Limehouse Link tunnel last time I ran the BH, no danger of me breaking the speed limit

outright first place
Perhaps?
Can't find any results from today, but on tracker clicks you look to have earliest arrival. Chapeau again.
Pretty sure t'other Andy you ran with yesterday (Q) might be from my old running club. I ran and chatted with t'other t'other Andy (Cole) for a bit at one of the EfM's, small world is the ultra running one.

I'd give the watch a miss until that heals.

Well done @jimm, @duncs & @doubleodavey too.

Yeah, couldn't believe it when I crossed the line. Andy was ahead of me but took a wrong turn and added 3 miles. He's a strong runner with lots of mountain experience so shot down the last descent. I fell over trying to keep up 😭
Apart from that we've been working well together.

I did that a few times, it just comes back. It's not painful or annoying, and it's a lot better now I've made cleaning my wrist and the back of the watch twice a day part of my routine (I do it when I brush my teeth, I'm already at the sink and it's a good reminder).

Hahaha so weird isn’t it. I’ve just swapped to my left arm. Which was weird to begin with. But it save me developing a hole in my arm.
4 miles done today. It wasn’t such a struggle as it was last week. But I’m going to add a mile or two in between the longer runs to give me a bit more mileage without punishing myself.

Russell is having another go at the PBR today. Tracker is here: https://live.opentracking.co.uk/pbaac21/
He's currently up on record schedule.

Got a bit lost on this morning's run. The planned 4.5 miles turned into 8.5 miles. Turns out I don't know the local housing estate quite as well as thought I did...😕
At least I saw a bit more of the local countryside than I would do on a normal Monday morning. 😁 -

I’m looking for some tight shorts/short tights whatever they’re called. I’d like some with a pocket big enough for my iPhone preferable zip up on the lower back.
Any suggestions?

Decathlon have some, I got the cheaper of the two options and I think there should be room for a phone. The seam still runs my knackers so Vaseline is my eternal friend. Good for runs up to 22 miles so far

2 summits left, impressive run.

Looks like you finished together today too. Great effort. If the stars align I'll pop out of work to heckle you on the canal at Newton Heath when you pass through.

Really impressive. He won't be happy though.

Maybe he got stuck in the queues?
Chapeau!
