You mean the most copied carbon cages in existence (on AliExpress)?
I had some genuine ones, and some fake ones. Similar weight.

Sarcasm possibly not translating in text there. But yeah they are 100% fake. I'm not even sure they are carbon. Not sure they would be as light though if plastic.
I've still never used them. They feel very flimsy but I've never held the real ones. Feels like a bottle would bounce out quite easily. I've been meaning to remove the decals and just use them.

I just realised I’ve got two bontrager xxx cages I’d forgot about!
Bonty cages on the s-works seems wrong though.
Small question over their provenance though. They both have serial numbers. That’s good. Both serial numbers are the same. That’s bad.
The fact that I paid £5 posted for the pair on the forum. That works out at £2.50 each.
16g each on the kitchen scales.
I think on the balance of probabilities they are the real McCoy™️
