2019 had its first control in France. I need to have a look at the controls and the order to see what they've planned for us.

A couple of gravel sections... let's see how they are after winter.

Looks like @hippy has made up some good time after having a di2 disaster yesterday. Currently in around 26th by the looks of things and just starting the cp2 parcours.

I forgot about this completely. His competitors are so afraid of him that they have to resort to measures like this now:

hippy is currently being followed up the parcours by a rider whose surname is Hager, which means 'lean' in German.

I'm betting on the ghetto fix he did when it got mangled up a few weeks back.. Probably fine on the spot, but not failproof with almost 2k km of grit?

He also broke his seatpost right before the start. Not his race this year it seems.

Strange one with Ulrich and the derailleur. @skinny is right, must be something going on as to have it happen twice in a week seems too much of a coincidence.

Enough distance for him to claw it back? Must be a big motivator for Justinas and Pawel to really crack on.

I don't think you usually get that much blood remaining on a monster's fangs.

Hippy complaining about losing sense of taste. Obviously that's a corona symptom, sounds a bit worrying.

He generally sounds pretty ill--not recovering through sleep, etc.
