Yeah OK, now I'm reading that bit back.
But I guess what I was driving at is that I'm assuming you didn't go to work there because you started off as a racist and apply that to all of your decisions.

Immigration enforcement does attract jingoists and the power-hungry. The UK has an, imperfect, points based visa system partly because of repeated, evidenced concerns over bias and discrimination within UKBA (now UKVI).
It’s management and leadership’s jobs to weed out hardcore racists and to educate their staff on racism. Sadly where the head goes the body follows, and the example at the top has been consistently poor for a while.
