You can get heavier duty roller brakes, but find that they get overwhelmed in cities like Glasgow where you don't think there are many hills, but you'll soon find their limits.
For low lying areas and low weight being moved around, go for it. -

They don't squeal unlike the disc brakes on our electric cargo bike and can be left outside in all weathers without suffering.
None of this true for disc brake.

Anyone have any opinions on these (either way)? Inner tubes aren’t quite cutting it anymore and I keep forgetting my ratchet ones

Looking for a cargo basket around the size 60x60cm, depth is not cricital but around 20cm. Have seen one on a three wheeled bicycled at my local batterystore. But they coulnt order just the basket.
Have any of you seen one?
Wont be placed on a bike unfortunately, but on a 1970s original electric threewheeled moped!

Have you had a look at IKEA?

No opinions on them, but I use ROK straps and they are excellent: https://rokstraps.com/

I use an AluLock on my Douze.

There are cheaper options, but those are great.

This is awesome! What is that thing and where can I get one??

Cross post from CP, I upgraded with a couple of new baskets (£8 & £6 respectively iirc) and have basically decided that this setup will do for almost any haul by bike mission. Unlikely to splash out on a ‘proper’ cargo bike I think.

Thanks for the tips! Im looking for this kind of look as attached picture, perhaps its easiest (and most fun) to build one myself...
Its a moped made by a swedish inventor with the funding from swedish goverment to find alternatives to gaspowered vehicles. This one was made for the swedish railway to do small transportations around the railyard. 3 x 12V batteries with 6 big relays controlls the speed in the steps. Big heavy led batteries was in it from the beginning, planing on going over to lithium batterypacks instead.
Picture is of our current king when he got one as a gift back in the 70s. One of the gentlemen in the background is the inventer, dont know who...

What's the best way to get 2 kids in a bullitt?
4 and 10. Both units.
At the moment I've got the oldest one strapped in and her sister sitting in between her legs. What side bars are there?
And the dead space behind the steerer tube what can go there to hold stuff like keys, speaker, phone, charger, stun gun, whisky? -

Both units.
r they yours?

They take after their mother I think. Probs for the best as they'll be a regular size.

60ish wide box.

But no rain canopy
https://www.rad3.de/produkte/605-rad3-kids-box-fuer-bullitt
You could maybe go narrower or custom. Rain canopy is a pain for custom Id guess.
In the end I decided against going for a bullitt.

Yeah I was going to link that ^ apparently Bullitt is about to release a 2 kid seat for canopy but I'd imagine overall space will be narrow

When I’ve got two kids onboard, I’m expecting to have one facing forwards and the other facing backwards. My box is 510 wide internally and about 850 long at the bottom. It’ll fit two 3-4 year olds side-by-side no problem.

Yeah forwards backwards is fine.
And ponchos. Rather than a cover.Did someone link attachments behind the cargo section?
And what bar storage for keys etc?I've already explored crystal palace park and done the gravel there, so I'm qualified for a bar bag nowm
Roller brakes rule. I've got them on a Bakfiets Long as well as normal bikes. No issues in London traffic or hills.
They don't squeal unlike the disc brakes on our electric cargo bike and can be left outside in all weathers without suffering. If you can't bring your bike inside that's a big plus. I've never had one wear out or had anything go wrong with one and I can't say that about any other brake type I've ever had.
I definitely wouldn't be put off by them on any utility type bike. Maybe somewhere super hilly like SF they'd be a bad idea but most of the UK would be fine I think
