Yes. Seems to have started working in the last 48hrs…. Since the restaurants legally had to start scanning.
Super simple to scan your QR code from the NHS onto the app.
If you have an iPhone, you can then just create a widget of the QR for your home screen

Yes, am in France, QR code was working for the attraction we went to.
Went to a French vide Grenier on Sunday (car boots sale) as well. Absolutely heaving with people, but mandatory masks for everyone above 5 years old.
Everyone was wearing one, though plenty of personal space invasions.
