The 36mm DJs / OPs have perfect proportions and the best bracelet in the world. Hard to compete with that. The hands and dial furniture on GS are undoubtedly better but their proportions and bracelets can't match Rolex (but then, neither do Omega et al IMHO). GS are probably best on a strap, certainly the ones that are based on the old case styles.
Do agree that the SBGR251 is a really nice watch, if it was 2-3mm slimmer it would be an easier sell I think.
I still kind of pine for a black dial 36 DJ on the jubilee, would be a pretty nonsensical purchase though (even if it would likely appreciate).
