Not really. It was sweet once it was repainted. In neon green pinnacle guise it looked sucky but resprayed with 42c tyres I loved it. That said I replaced it with a steel cross bike that fit the same size tyres but felt faster so no regrets. Although you're going the other way and going for even more off road.
You may miss the lightness as a mehteh with 2.1s is going to feel like a tank.

Tempted to switch out the frameset and pending 2022 colours, getting a brother mehteh.
