Yeah big challenge tyre fan but as much as it seems a generous offer, I've got about 4 bikes in various stages of "project" so I should probably leave them before I start swapping wheels and tyres on another one

I have never had so much trouble than fitting challenge tyres new out the box. After they have been stretched a little no worries. Never going back.

It’s why they’re hanging on my 1980s Raleigh winner in the back of the garage ;)

Please note that posting this merely displays my contempt for the thread. PVD is an insufferable bore

I think it was a temporary fork and he didn't want to cut the steerer. The crazy stem / bar I'm not going to try and explain, you'll have to suffer you're own way through his blogs to find that out.

Every few months I find myself wondering what kind of monstrosity he's been building, but after a couple of paragraphs of "I'M THE BEST THING EVER!!" I remember why I avoid his blog

Hands behind the point of the steering axis, bet the handing isn't weird at all.

Peter Verdone I think?

I don't even know where to start. Zero mud clearance, stupid weight distribution (unless you only go downhill), unnecessary stem...
Must do crazy wheelies, if anything -

Guys, I know it's shit. That's exactly why I posted it

What happened to the mutiny to all those sub-whatever threads? Is that over now?

• #20597
it's hard to maintain parody threads that are being out parodied by the very thread they are parodying

WAFC. Took me about two sentences of his blog to reach that assessment.

He lives in Marin County so I don’t think mud is top on his list of concerns.
I'm assuming this is not tubeless compatible
