I had an AXS Reverb on order from Sigma - was meant to be here next week. They just emailed me to say "December 13th now, soz". Absolutely not their fault, but still annoying.

Swapping to 1x di2 on my girlfriend's CX bike. Got to the stage where the brifters are bolted on and connected to the hoses and rear mech is attached to the frame. Took no time. If this was AXS, all we would have to do now is pair everything up and it would be ready to go. However the cranks and pressfit BB need taking out for a load of internal wiring and batteries to be plumbed in....
Fuck wires.

It's true, that 15 minutes each year to change the oil really wears me down
-

The 10 minutes never to change a di2 battery is annoying too

wait, did I give you an idea that you have to take battery off everytime you have to charge?
-
• #4963
The idea that you'd have to do it ever was enough for me

What stops the battery rattling around in the downtube?

9200 Di2 is a lot easier to charge with the magnet attachment on the rear derailleur.

Interesting, I've heard there have been a few concessions to make it more e-bike compatible, but a separate charging port in the RD definitely doesn't sound like one of them.

It eliminates a few pieces by using a mag port like their power meter.

Charge cables in stock: 2022.
Why can’t they just adopt usb c?
Well, the packaging looked A1, as does the product, and most importantly they work, so I doubt it…
