Thought it was a dog, no?

A chimp removed a dogs face?
-
• #91904
No. A dog had their owners face transplanted on to it. Pretty sure that’s right
-
• #91905
you're right. first face transplant was on someone who was attacked by a dog. There was another face transplant on a woman that had her face ripped off by a chimp, but that was a number of years later.

Was his name Roger?

Gareth I think

TBH I think having pets is a bit weird.
But if I had a dog it would have a normal name that suited it rather than Cockles, Snookums, Bodger or some other name that sounds like it came from an Australian soap.

Do you think the American participants definitely understand what unarmed means?

Could you best a gorilla if you had bear arms?
-
• #91911
Also, I reckon I could take a king cobra, but you only really get one chance to fail.

I thought the goose disparity between US and UK was interesting. We're clearly more afraid these dangerous predators.
But I don't think it'd put up much resistance, one good football kick would see it off
-
• #91913
Kicking it would just launch it in to the air ready to dive bomb you

Come on guys, it's a fucking goose!

Without medical aid the human wouldn’t live much longer than most of those opponents. A 110kg (17 St?) bodybuilder cousin of mine was nearly killed by a mid-sized pit bull that attacked his dog unprovoked. He says he landed 3 full power kicks to its sides and spine before it turned on him, nearly ripping his left arm to shreds above the elbow. He punched it, slammed it, gouged its eyes and it didn’t stop until he eventually choked it out with its collar. He was airlifted out and they barely saved his arm, and his left hand was pretty much mauled.
I’d take my chances on a grizzly over an elephant because at least there’s one single recorded instance of an unarmed man winning that fight.

If you can get the bite unclenched by goosing a dog, can you have the same effect by dogging a goose?
-
• #91920
Similar story, my uncle had a big but soft Alsatian which got attacked by a pitbull. It had its teeth around my Uncle's dog's throat, so he jumped on its back with his full weight and repeatedly punched it in the head with no effect, had to pull its collar as hard as he could to get it to let go.

@gbj_tester The way your mind works amazes me.

Does 'unarmed' mean no antibiotics?
If so, a lot of wins against rats and cats may turn out to be draws, over a slightly longer term.

That's really tough, going through such a big operation then getting attacked by a dog on top of it all. Is the woman ok now?

A slight foie paux?

When I was kid my mate's Dad had a big allotment/small holding that he kept geese on, he was showing us round when one went for him, he launched it a good 20 foot by booting it in the chest wearing steel toe caps. The goose didn't even slow down just launched straight back at him and we all had to leg it.
yeah that rings a bell. being killed by a chimp is one thing, but surviving having your face ripped off by one, I can't even begin to think how you come to terms with that.
Anyway, more memes pls!
