then noticed these bullit bikes have no lugs for a rear rack, which is a wierd omission. Such an easy thing to install on a frame, and you'd think that rear end would be rated for a few extra kgs.
Completely agree, I have a rack on mine that I installed using M Part seat collar with rack mounts. Funnily enough my dropouts have a rack mount but frame doesent!
I'd say racks are essential on cargo bike esp if you are hauling a kid; you want easier/quicker access to stuff that you can take with you.

Mine is a racktime rack; its excellent.
