Some updates:
My father really likes his new bike, only changes so far was some 40mm risers which seem to help his hands, and I picked him up one of these V O transporteur bags for cheap
I bought a frame to go with these forks a 'fixie' frame.
It has reasonably nice dropouts with build in adjusters
and its precrimped to apparently fit 40c (thought I havent tested this yet)
For wheels I'm going to use two front XT hubs, one as a normal front disc hub and then the rear I will convert to an ISO bolt on fixed hub Haven't decided on the rims as yet
