It does look like a poinsettia. I keep one by a southwest facing window and it seems to like it. The soil in yours looks a bit dry, no?
Shoutout to Picture This app. You can download the free version (beware annoying and sneaky attempts to get you to upgrade, note that there’s always an ‘x’ or ‘no thanks’ button somewhere). It’s not always accurate but it can ID plants and diagnose problems too.
