Yeah, any of those poodle crosses would be great TBH... Only problem is they're all so fucking expensive now!!
Fuck me, just googled to see how expensive they are - between £2k-£3.5k! I've got a schnoodle and cavapoo (and a rescue mutt) that were £450 each 6 and 7 years ago (mutt was free in Hong Kong). They are all lovely, amazing dogs.

Am not a dog owner, but have looked after a cockapoo quite a bit, and my mate has a cavapoo, former colleague a shih-poo and the prevailing vibe seems to be that poodle crosses, and poodles, due to their inherent intelligence, need loads of stimulation or they become absolute nightmares. Obviously behavioural issues can crop up regardless of breed and are probably a result of nurture more than nature. Perhaps theres some correlation between people who want a non-shedding dog and those who want a dog without any of the associated inconvenience, picking up hair, socialising it, paying it the slightest bit of attention... There was a whole thing with the person who came up with the labradoodle breed massively regretting it or something.
What about Cockapoo/ spoodle? We had a loan cockapoo and he was great, smart and non shedding
