Have you seen the website that lists all the redwoods in the UK? I'd organise a ride to a bunch by I've got more chance of staying sober for a month than creating a route like for that.

It’s on the road into Norwich, there are around 15 within 1/4mile of it, but this is the big boy.

No gravel in Normandy but sand, dirt, mud and even sea shells (might be more dangerous for tires than gravel...)

I think this fits in this thread. I was on my gravel bike (you can just about see my Gravel Kings 35mm at the foot of the pic) but the two guys following me were on MTB's.

Definitely #nogravel on Headley Heath last night. Thinking of renaming the trail on Strava as #fernbritain

Looks interesting. Am looking for routes out west to Chilterns instead of always heading down through Surrey. How was it? I often find canal paths slow going.

it was okay thanks. Leaving RP at 8 am was early enough to avoid most of the crowds although there were inevitably people around later on.

Anyone going to the South Downs summer sportive ride this Saturday and has a spot in the car? Or any other gravel adventure/fondo/race for that matter. Got an unexptected weekend off on my hands.

Edit: its conveniently located next to a train station with direct trains from Victoria, so im going if I can get the bike together by Saturday (brake pads, tyres...)

Anyone got spare tyres with a bit of life left they want to sell on, let me know! Ive only got a set of full slicks, and it might rain a bit...

210 miles in two days of what you could call pancake flat and then the 500ft climbing in just under two miles was gravel.

That’s actually not bad apart from the downtube and too tube bag that look a mite on the wide side.
