  • I'm an admirer of Rendell's books and general approach to cycling but that was a real horror show of a commentary. He sounded like a concussion protocol should have been activated.

  • I’ve just started watching the replay of the women’s race … he’s doing the commentary on that as well ….. and just as badly.
I wonder if everyone else has gone on holiday…. ?

  • Mega race. Shame about the commentator...

  • Having watched Van Vleuten nearly come a cropper on that right hand corner with about 4 kms to go, I was amazed that none of the team cars warned their riders about it as they approached. Powless, who got around it without incident, said he'd seen how sharp it was on his Garmin and backed off. What's the point of in-car VeloViewer and race radios if you're not using them to help the riders?

  • congratulations moscon for joining the wolfpack

  • They should sign Dennis at the same time.

  • Sam Bennett confirmed to be returning to Bora-Hansgrohe for next season.

  • And Sagan's move to Total Energies finally confirmed. He's taking just Oss and Bodnar with him.

    Poor Juraj!

  • I hope it rejuvenates him. I don't see why he can't get back to his best as a classics rider.

  • Plus terpstra, turgis and bosen Haagen makes a pretty strong classic squad or a classic reunion movie?

  • nah they are all 'has been'

good for the team though, they can dump their shitty bikes for specialized.

  • Turgis was a monster this year

Agree with you on the rest though

  • Do not insult Turgis

He's been a legend for me in velogames. Top 10s all over the place.

  • ...ten years ago

  • He was phenomenal in the spring.

  • Someone made the comment to me Sagan's move is about him having seen what fun the young generation are having and wanting a piece of it. Apparently he can dictate his calendar and will do mtb (inrng). I for one expect Sagan to get back to being Sagan, who was in fact cool before all these young kids, could be a really good year for him next year - and I hope it is.

  • Chris Boardman: "Awang always makes the opponents wary".

  • pretty sure I saw Fred Wright this morning heading out to kent, he waved.

  • He's riding the track league at Herne Hill tonight, so it probably was him.

  • yeah he'll have been getting a ride in beforehand

  • Let's hope he hasn't overdone it ahead of him getting his arse kicked by you tonight.

  • He's on carbon rims (that I sold to his dad) anyway. Cheat.

  • did looked a little rattled after descending the mighty Anerley, could work in your favour.

  • lol, fingers crossed
