Anyone taking vegan omega "fish oil" supplements?
If so any recommendations?
Cheers.

The regular sausage bean and cheese melt is somehow highly ranked amongst many people. I don’t get it myself.

I can't wait, sausages, beans and cheese are all glorious.

Never got to try any other, but so far I'm pretty happy with these.

Even when congealed in a room temperature, soggy lump?
-
• #9034
No, but I saw the article in the Guardian and am tempted for coffee and such. Interested to hear how you find it.

Just read the linked article it's interesting stuff and if they can get the price down its a smash hit. Is the reason plant milks are expensive simply because of the size of the operation?

If the barista version is as good as the Oatly barista I'll be happy. -

I 've ordered 6 x 1 litre - https://wdsgroup.co.uk/product/dug-barista-potato-milk-vegan-friendly-alternative-milk-6-pack-x-1-litre/
Potatoes use about half the land it takes to grow the equivalent amount of oats.

That's a good price will check it

I imagine that's the main reason. Is dairy also subsidised in the UK?

Ended up going to Yard Sale Pizza in Balham. Ordered the vegan pepperoni pizza and an ice cream sandwich for dessert. Also got the garlic&herb and bbq dips. Everything was awesome. Definitely want to go back and try the vegan bbq chicken pizza.

I'm sure people in Lewisham already know about this, but a friend has just pointed it out to me:
It sounds as if not all the stock is vegan ('plant-based' should mean it is, but they mention 'vegetarian' prominently, perhaps only to pull vegetarians in), but a lot of it clearly is. It's an offshoot of Longdan, as you can see in the picture.

Ah, I passed a Plantbase yesterday and noted it was next to Longdan, so wondered if they were linked. Longdan have been upping their vegan offerings for a while, this is good to see.
Yet another supermarket option but you can't go wrong with a Linda McCartney imo. Cheap as chips in Iceland too.
