I’d had a skinful but pizza at Honest Italian nr Balham tube was okay, Ciullosteria down towards Clapham South okay too. Getting down to the places to eat in Tooting Market is a stretch. Also, for that, you really wanna be childfree for an afternoon getting slowly blitzed on vermouths.

Check the tax statement at the checkout, if it says UK VAT @ 20%, you're in the clear, if there's no VAT then you take your chances with UK customs interception.

In the olden days, when you bought multiple items from the same eBay seller and the seller had stated that they will combine postage, you could do a ‘request total’ at the checkout point of the transaction. Now, that button seems to be gone and it just racks up multiple postage amounts. How are you supposed to do it now? Do you have to come to a deal with the seller via messages and then just keep your fingers crossed that they will refund you the difference?
It’s with items in Europe, so the postage amounts are quite high.

Not bots unfortunately... actual human. Which always makes it harder to programmatically block, but it's still trivial to nuke.

Any chance they weren’t a spammer, just relying on Google translate?
-
• #109035
There's a chance that the person spamming doesn't know what they're spamming. The text was Korean but the IP address did not suggest that, so I'm not sure the person who wrote it was the person who spammed it.
How do I know it's a person? The email was Gmail and they're actually pretty good at spotting the bots. So my base assumption is that Gmail accounts spamming is more likely to be cheap labour in India, Philippines, etc rather than a bot.

If you really want to kill the ability to read or write to a network, you would need to physically destroy all means of external I/O, such as Ethernet adapters (wired and wireless), USB adapters, any other peripheral ports. That's going to involve chopping out sections of the motherboard if you want to make it truly irreversible.

If you're gonna actually rip bits off the motherboard to block internet can you do a OTCP thread please

You can cut the WiFi and Bluetooth antenna cables easily enough. Most of them have it on a separate module you can take out.
Other ports are much harder.

As above plus fill any rj45 and usb ports with epoxy.

- Set up a user account with no internet access or the ability to add such access.
- If it's for you, do this while incredibly drunk and you are sure to forget the admin password.

you are sure to forget the admin password.
I have tried this, it simply displaces the obsessive behaviour into repeatedly trying to guess the password until I remember it.

I fantasize about this every day. Basically I need a machine for my work (art / photography) that allows me to totally focus. I have wasted too many hours. Sounds like I need a employ a technician, unless anyone local on here want to lend me a hand? There would be a few beers in it for anyone who could do the necessary butchering

Sure of course.
What is a OTCP thread?
If I order from GoPro (they have a bundle deal on the go) do I need to pay Brexit taxes? Some people seem to have been charged them, others haven't been charged anything extra. (From what I gather, they're shipped from Netherlands to UK)
Seems a bit unclear, as the bundle saving will be negated with an extra £100 tax payment on top....
