Aberdeen is known as the granite city, granite/granita? Obvious innit?

I was only a teenager in the 90s but a had a grasp that Blair and brown were leasing the party. Later I heard about the restaurant was in Islington, then I moved there and living near a bit of history felt a bit special to me.

It is now.
ETA - I found it, BTW, thanks to the reflectoporn of Paul's boulangerie across the road from it.

I once embarrassed myself and the waitress at Granita. Without putting too fine a point on it, it involved breasts. Who then proceeded to bring a giant bread basket to the table after I’d eaten the said breast and thus couldn’t mop up my jus, as a subtle pass/agress punishment. I could have died.

Now the new one, something to do with Polari?
