I’m guessing you have a Shimano cassette?

Campy freehub is the same 9-12s. 11s group will work just fine.

^ Yep. Seems condor person wasn’t clear or was mistaken.

if it makes any difference the wheel is a fairly old model? As a general question because its something I have never quite figured out, for 11/12s campagnolo cassettes are the spacers and sprockets just very small (and is the chain very thin?) to be able to fit them onto the freehub?

Not sure about 12 but yes about 11sp. Mind, they only take fractions of a mm off each part, and it’s enough.

You can definitely run an 11-speed cassette on a 9-speed free hub; I’m running one on mine and it runs perfectly.

Hello all,
I currently have a campagnolo scirocco G3 rear wheel on my Look KG241 which is 9spd and I was told by the nice people at Condor that it had capacity to go to 10spd. Suppose I wanted to go one up and get to 11spd, I actually have a broken campag calima/khamsin wheel which has an 11spd freehub in decent condition, is it possible to put that on the old scirocco? will it fit in the dropouts? is it worth trying it out or should I just keep an eye out for an 11spd compatible new set of wheels?
cheers
