  • If Poirier wins again, is that curtains for Conor as a cutting edge fighter? A spate of losses, a lack of adjustment or development in his last fights, a loss of that critical punching power etc. He’ll never be a scrub, but are his best days in the ring behind him?
    I’d absolutely love it if he comes in looking like a new fighter, or at least with a different strategy but at this point I’m not sure I can see it happening.

  • After this, if he loses, just legend fights for Conor to finish off the "superstar career" imo.
    I wouldn't be disappointed to see him turn around and focus on the fighting and improving to be the best, just don't think it'll happen (like you)

  • Id say so, he's got far t0o many yes men surrounding him and even then he isn't as good as he thinks. The massive money he got very early ruined him and he's talking about he's back on the building site mentality while living in mansions, wearing 300k watches and sniffing all the white stuff he can when not fighting. Its hard to believe he could get back to that mentality.
