Looking for new rubber since my GK 38mm slicks disintegrated during a race. Had ridden them about 1200km before and then 1000 km into the race the thread was bare and all kinds of fuckery had to be improvised to make it to a town where i could source a new pair. Would still like something with a similar width with soft and nice side walls.
Exactly the same thing happened to another racer running 26mm exposures.
I’ve been loving the GKs thus far, but kind of lost faith in them now.
Been eyeing the 32mm GP5000 but would ideally want something a little wider.
I've been on Strada Bianca 36c for a few years and besides that one warranty upthread they've been great. Thin flexy sidewalls even in the cheap version, but never had a severe cut.
Michelin power tubeless are excellent and come up super wide. My 32s came up at 35c. I got close to 5000 winter and commuting miles from them without a single puncture. They're fast, durable and comfy.
