Looks like I can get 28 or 32 gp5000 for cheap as they’re being superseded by a tubeless compatible version, with the older ones now reduced.
I’ve also been offered a new 10sp group set and wheels off a pal who felt embarrassed on my behalf when he saw the set up I was running (8sp shifters and 9sp cassette is a real highlight, which I have no idea how it happened). So speed gains to be made all around!
Also, I’m definitely in the 2x Lachlan weight camp, so extra volume will help no doubt.
Yeah, bigger volume for starters. 28mm or 32mm GP5000 would be super fast, 28mm Pro Endurance are more durable.
