Of course the vaccines are still under trial. They're still under trial for pregnant women. They're still under trial for under 16s. They'll still under trial for all adults as they're still assessing the outcomes of the mass vaccination programmes.

The alternative seems to be to run a standard vaccination trial taking YEARS and hoping that the UK death toll from Covid wouldn't get past 500,000 on the way through.

The evidence so far, based on the 80 million or so doses given in the UK alone seems almost entirely positive.

It's got to be some massive conspiracy for the Governments and health organisations of pretty much THE ENTIRE WORLD to be in on it all.

Not perse. Some people willingly misquote facts / mislead. Perfectly fine to call out risks, that's how AZ blood clot risk got accepted.
The hard core anti vaxxers though / bill gates dropped covid types, maybe not?

I made a choice to take it based on risks the way I understand them, do I trust the Westminster government? Hah lol no, but they just paid for the vaccines, I do trust the scientists.

But there's also an emotional element... rather than waiting for a virus that is unpredictable I take an action myself (well 2 with AZ) and I know then I get 85% protection against getting badly ill with Covid. So to me that's a little bit of control and that's more emotional than rational.

I understand that there are a lot of fine people on both sides. Including the white supremacists.

The trouble is that all too often on both sides of the argument there's actually an argument on one side and utter self-entitled bullshit on the other. That doesn't give them equal validity.
