Am happy to have helped buddy.
Actually very jealous , is a really cool piece of kit.
And waaaaaay cooler than that awful Tudor attempt.
Congrats on the new pad. -

Just got these in the mail. Unfortunately got delayed so too late for pride month, but the olive green one is very nice. The rainbow one is a bit lesser quality, but for a month a year it will do the job. Qeustion: are these nato's well washable in a certain way?

I've washed all my natos in the washing machine, with clothes (no watches)
So far no death has occured to: Straps, Machine, or Wearer.

I’ve always just chucked mine in a ‘delicates’ washing machine cycle in the past - no issues.

I put my watch straps inside a sock and chuck them in the normal laundry.

I am dumbfounded by you guys who can rock a leather strap for months. I stink up my straps in a week.

Pop them in one of those zippy mesh protector bags in the washing machine, if you can be bothered. Will stop any clattering/scratching caused by the hardware.

I swap back and forth between watches so the ones on a leather strap have a chance to breathe a little.

Not that anyone asked, but I get a lot of joy out of these single-pass stretchy straps. For those who make their own straps I reckon the hardware alone is well worth the price. As mentioned, I chuck them in the washing machine regularly and I've not seen any rust or damage.
Managed to force one of these onto a Casio W800, making for the ultimate stretchy/comfy, lightweight work out watch.

Anyone would like a Seiko SPB143? It no longer getting any use after acquiring a Tudor, I’m asking £550 (SOLD) , including a free WOLF watch winder which I never use either.
Condition is OK; show sight of usage, the Diashield coating is excellent at keeping scratches to a min.
Will includes 3 strap, stretchy one (blue) single pass (grey) and normal (red), also includes original bracelet and links.

I quite like the SPB201 and SPB119 as well. It’s a matter of taste though, do you like green and gold or do you prefer a black/grey dial (or white, or blue, or…)?

Adding a photo of the grey dial (ignore the now gone everest)...
I do rather like the white / cream ones as well - IMO they work better on a brown leather strap than the darker coloured ones. So depends what your taste is.
TBA - the older green and blue ones didn't have the same anti reflective coating on the crystal as the new ones - I think it results in them looking 'washed out' in quite a few light situations - they only have that amazing deep sunburst look at certain angles and with certain lighting. Obv most photos online show them at their best...

What modern options (quartz or automatic) are there for vintage divers like this? In particular similar dimensions (this is something like 37mm and 8.5mm thick) with a tapered bracelet.
Timex Q is the obvious but it's quite a bit chunkier.

Thanks this might be the best pick. I like all of them really but the bracelet actually looks good. Is the compass just a gimmick though?

I mean, you can use it as a compass if you learn how. It can also be used as a timing bezel, just put the N over the minute hand and time from that.
On a roll with the green dials bro, ‘grats!
