Ineos will likely defend the GC position of Carapaz a bit … but I suspect they’ll try for more. Today will be difficult for UAE with breakaways so I’m guessing Porte (+22mins) or Tao (+51mins) will try and go away.
I think Tao looked happier yesterday. He seems very good on long climbs such as today’s finish.
