I’ve been making all the effort recently to get the latest bar-friendly mix out as a demo as far away as bloody Brixton and am just getting blanked at best, if not just told no.
If anyone goes somewhere that seems like they might have something on let me know. Feel like I need to work harder but not sure what else I can do outside of going door to door and begging, which I’m not above doing!

On the playing out stuff, since I posted this morning got two more knockbacks lol. One saying they are 'fully stocked for DJs' despite only ever promoting one night ever when there's been a DJ, and another 'open' deck night where the answer was just a flat no because it's D&B, even though they're appealing for people to come and play. Tiring.
Think I mentioned it before but there's just never not going to be the perception that you're going to play Original Nuttah and Arsonist while people are trying to chat and have a pint, whereas I'm not stupid, basically.
Anyway, apologies for whining! I need to divert most of the energy and time I'd spend on it to doing a stream instead.
Down to two pieces of equipment and need to do a bit more of a comparison but siding with the Roland. I need to get my mesh network sorted too and then will be good to go.

After literally years (12) of looking, finally had a track ID’d and a full length version. It samples Freddie Hubbard Red Clay and is just a superb, minimal but progressive work out.
