Mine are just on my phone already. Just tap the smiley face at the bottom left of the keypad and they're all there 😁😁😁

Rhythm & Bikes (Jez and Bruno and team) is an ace bike repair shop. My joint-fave LBS in Brighton along with Rayments.

Huh. Slick. I must try that out next time.

I didn't know about them until the tag as my work is London road side. I often use Baker St for convenience but I know a couple guys at Rayments and at all Bikes electric on Queens Rd. They only sell e-bikes but the mechanics can do most things.

I imagine tagzumping doesn't really get done in Brighton, so hopefully you're safe. :)
I've not heard of this before, and I don't think it's ever been done in Brighton. But there seems to be a classic example on the current page (1031) of Bicycle Tag of Bike:-

The size and velocity of the London game is quite astounding. A somewhat different beast to our own BBT.
I really appreciate your interest in the regional bike tags, as well as London. For me, bike tag is simply the best game I've ever played!

Please tag the one you're supposed to find first, then go do your new one! This the way.

Who missed a tag? I said I recognise the latest tag but it's way out of town so haven't had time to get over there yet that's all.

Doh!!
My apologies to you both, @sacredhart and @Retro_bastard.
When I viewed the forum yesterday and this morning, the @sacredhart post read "Top of Falmer Rd" and there was no photo.
Looking again just now, I see that there is a photo + it also says "Not fixed I'm afraid.". A later addition? Or maybe some weird non-display problem when I first viewed.
I thought that @sacredhart had just called out the location, but not tagged it. My bad. Apologies.

I have trouble uploading pics sometimes and have to refresh the page several times for any accompanying pics to show but the last tag may have been done in reverse order to maximise efficiency? But anyone riding Brightons cycle lanes today beware of potential hazards 😂

Who would believe you if when you got home you said you nearly ran over a man dressed as wonder woman and a dwarf dressed as a sailor ?? 😂

I cycle that stretch of bike lane by Sainsbury's many times a week, and every time I leave work and head home. But I have never, ever seen anything like that!

@sea-level I did call it first, then add the photo. I knew I'd be riding past it today.

Got it! I got confused and didn’t realise you had tagged. Anyway, welcome to a new player, and I like your fast work!
I was out the Downs today too, fearing a bog after all the recent rain, but the SDW was pleasantly dry.

I've not heard of this before
It's just a word I invented to describe what happens when more than one person goes for a tag and one of them posts it up first. It's based on the estate agent expression 'to gazump' (whose origin in itself seems to be unexplained, but may come from Yiddish).
and I don't think it's ever been done in Brighton. But there seems to be a classic example on the current page (1031) of Bicycle Tag of Bike:-
I wouldn't call that a classic example; the classic one is people posting only their picture of the old tag to show how they've been 'zumped. It happens on good weather days and with easy/easy-ish tags.
The size and velocity of the London game is quite astounding. A somewhat different beast to our own BBT.
Well, the size of London is quite astounding, and we've been playing for ten years. I think the Brighton and Edinburgh threads are the best ones outside of London. As you say, it's a very fun game, and that of course expands its potential for longevity. I can recommend following the Edinburgh game. All the other ones I've found are a bit dead at the moment. Interestingly, it's not played much in larger cities like Birmingham or Glasgow.
I really appreciate your interest in the regional bike tags, as well as London. For me, bike tag is simply the best game I've ever played!
Ha. I still enjoy it lots, including looking at the tags in other cities.

Cheers it made for a nice scenic commute and dry already on the off road. I don't mind a bit of rain but my current tyres aren't up for it
huh, it works
🙂
