Sprint finish for 2nd and 3rd

Looks like Omar took a wrong turn just before the finish judging from the replay (not sure if that was a parcour or what)

That track is a bit weird. The finish is at the top of Jaizkibel but the track continues to the coast.

If it's like when I raced it, the finish isn't at the coast. So it makes sense to me they've the finish up a little climb and then you drop down and head to the coast for the pinxos.

But I'm not really sure why they don't use a track that stops at the finish for the tracking site. Makes it a bit confusing for dotwatchers.

Replay looks like Sofiane passed him before that turn-off anyway.

The track is the track. The finish line is the finish line.

Seems to make perfect sense to me. It's the same as a neutral rollout - they don't want people racing a sprint finish through a busy city.

Oh man.. Potentially the best place on Earth to finish a long ride/race

It was one of the best finishes for me. I enjoyed the whole race, in fact. Very good riding and lots of noobs who were super pumped to just finish it so made for a "happy ending".

No. Been there made that mistake

Not sure what happened at 16 hours, but it looks like that is when Ulrich got his huge lead.
